
Presentation guidelines
Oral Presentations
Presentation durations
- Plenary Talks: 45 min (incl. Q&A)
- Keynote Lectures: 30 min (incl. Q&A)
- Invited & Regular Oral Presentations: 15 min (incl. Q&A)
Technical setup
- Presentation will be projected from computers running the Windows operating system
- Personal laptops cannot be used
- Accepted formats: PPT, PPTX or PDF (16:9 aspect ratio recommended)
- Minimum recommended font size: 18 pt to ensure readability for all attendees in the lecture hall
- Speakers are requested to preview their presentation at the Media Desk at least 30 minutes before the session
Presentations upload
All presentations must be uploaded in advance (using a personal USB stick) to the computer in the dedicated lecture room
- Morning sessions: upload before 08:30
- Afternoon sessions: upload before 14:00
- Upload on the same day or the day before
- Media Desk assistance available
All presentations (including Q&A) must STRICTLY respect the allocated time
Poster Presentations
Poster sessions
- Mon 29 June 2026 – 17:30–18:30 (extended to 20:00, Special H₂ Day)
- Tue 30 June 2026 – 17:30–18:30 (extended to 20:00)
- Wed 1 July 2026 – 11:00–12:25 (Special PhD Session)
Format & display
- A0 vertical (118.9 × 84.1 cm)
- Boards will be numbered according to the program
- Clips or magnets will be provided
Mounting & removal
- Posters must be mounted in advance before the assigned session
- Posters must be removed at the latest by Friday, 3 July 2026
- Remaining posters will be discarded
Authors should be present during their poster session.
Students Pitch–Poster Award Competition

- 3-minute oral pitch presenting the core ideas, relevance, and objectives of the PhD project (strict timing: presentations will be stopped after 3 minutes)
- Poster discussion session following the pitch, allowing for in-depth scientific exchange
Two parallel sessions will be organized, with evaluation by independent juries.
Evaluation criteria
- Pitch: clarity, scientific relevance, communication skills
- Poster: scientific depth, data quality, discussion, and critical thinking
Awards
Certificates and prizes will be presented during the Award Ceremony on Friday, 3 July 2026.
