Practical information

From the city center (20 min):

Take TRAM line n°5 in direction «Clapiers» and get off at «Pôle Chimie Balard» station, then walk to ENSCM building (200 m).

If you are closer to TRAM line n°1, ride in the direction «Mosson» and change to line n°5 at «Boutonnet – Cité des Arts» station, continue to «Pôle Chimie Balard» station, then walk to ENSCM building (200 m).

From Montpellier Saint Roch train station (20 min):

Take TRAM n°1 in the direction «Mosson» and follow the itinerary described above.

From Montpellier Sud de France train station (40 min):

Take TRAM n°1 heading to city center and change to line n°5 at «Boutonnet – Cité des Arts» station, continue to «Pôle Chimie Balard» station, then walk to ENSCM building (200 m).

From the airport (50 min):

Take the airport shuttle (bus) to its terminus «Place de l’Europe», then take TRAM line n°1 towards «Mosson» and change to line n°5 at the «Boutonnet – Cité des Arts» station, continue to the «Pôle Chimie Balard» station, then walk to ENSCM building (200 m).

The TRAM ticket costs 2€ (3€ including the shuttle bus from the airport).

Unless you are coming from the airport, we strongly advise you to use TRAM rather than TAXI or car (traffic jams and limited parking possibilities make individual transport in Montpellier very challenging)!

From Montpellier Saint Roch train station (5 min): Just walk (300 m) to Place de la Comédie.

From Montpellier Sud de France train station (20 min): Take TRAM n°1 heading to city center and get off at «Comédie» station.

From the aiport (35 min): Take the airport shuttle (bus) to its terminus «Place de l’Europe», then take TRAM n°1 towards «Mosson» and get off at the «Comédie» station.

The TRAM ticket costs 2€ (3€ including the shuttle from the airport).

All city center hotels are located just a 20-minute direct tram ride from the ICIM site and less than a 5-minute walk from the nearest tram station.

June/July is a tourist period in France, we recommend that you book your hotel sufficiently in advance!
