Instructions to authors

🗣 Conference Language

  • The official language of the conference is English.

👤 Author & Submission Guidelines

  • A Presenting Author can submit up to 2 abstracts.
  • Abstracts must be submitted online through the abstract submission website (E-mail submissions will not be accepted).
  • The Submitting Author must register before submitting any abstract(s).
  • During abstract submission, the Author will be asked to indicate the preferred presentation format (oral or poster) and select the relevant TOPIC session(s).

📄 Abstract Format & Content

  • Abstracts must not exceed 1 page or 3000 characters (including spaces), including references.
  • Authors may optionally upload a supplementary PDF file (max 2 pages) to include tables, figures, formulas, hyperlinks, or other content not easily integrated into the main abstract. This file is for reviewers only and will not be published.
  • Abstracts will be evaluated based on clarity, quality, originality, and relevance. Authors are encouraged to avoid generalities.
  • Intellectual property remains the sole responsibility of the Submitting Author.
  • Authors retain all rights, including copyright, and may submit the abstract or paper to other publications.
  • All submissions will be openly accessible, including to individuals who are not registered participants.

💳 Registration & Payment

  • Payment is not required before the Notification of Acceptance.
  • The Presenting Author of an accepted abstract must register and complete full-payment to be included in the Final Program.
  • The Presenting Author must be available to present the work in person at the event.

🕒 Presentation Details

  • Standard oral presentations will be 15 minutes, including questions.

  • To withdraw an abstract or change the Presenting Author after the deadline, please contact: contact@icim2026.org.

  • Abstract submission deadline: January 10th, 2026
  • Notification of acceptance: March 16th, 2026

PhD student are invited to apply to the ICIM 2026 PhD Student Competition and present their research in a dynamic “Pitch + Poster” format!

🎓 PhD Student Competition

🏆 Awards will be granted based on your PhD progress level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
📌 Only “Pitch + Poster” presentations are eligible for the competition.
✅ To apply, you must provide proof of full-time university enrollment (e.g., student card or certificate).
🎤 You may also submit a standard oral presentation, but it will not be considered for the award.
