The information collected in our application and subscription forms is recorded in a database held and processed by the ICIM-18 Secretariat- Institut Européen des Membranes (IEM), 300 avenue du Prof. Emile Jeanbrau, 34090 MONTPELLIER- France.

 

PERSONAL DATA

This page aims to provide you with information regarding the handling of your personal data on this site.

The ICIM-18 Secretariat guarantees compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act in all processing of personal data on this site.

Browsing the site is complimentary and doesn't necessitate a user account. However, to offer personalized services such as document submission, event registration, email alerts, etc., we may need you to provide identification.

In this context, the ICIM-18 Secretariat needs to handle your personal information, which may include details such as your consultation records, registration for alert services, or data collected during account creation for document submission or registration purposes.

Document submission

Within the document submission form, we capture the type of actions taken and your user ID (e.g., to identify the submitter, editor, or moderator of a document).

Event registration

During event registration, the information provided in the registration form is recorded for registration management purposes. 

Website visits

Data accessed on the website may be logged for statistical and security auditing purposes through the web server and stored in compliance with legal obligations.

Download statistics for files are compiled by anonymizing IP addresses and visit statistics are generated using Google Analytic.

 

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Personal data will be retained until the account deletion is requested.

Non-anonymized consultation data (server logs) will be retained for 1 year.

 

DATA RECIPIENTS

The individuals who receive the collected data are staff members of IEM, members of the ICIM-18 organising commitee and site administrators.

The processing does not involve automated decision-making (in accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR).

 

DATA TRANSFER OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

There are no transfers outside the European Union, except for the mailing list, which will be shared with the next ICIM chairmanship.

 

COOKIES
